ABINGDON JUDO CLUB’S NEW 1ST DAN – TIM PARSONS

On Saturday 1st April Tim Parson gained the final points required for his 1st Dan at the High Wycombe Dan Grading. Everybody at AJC is extremely proud of Tim and his achievement.

SENSEI MARK MAIDMENT 5TH DAN GUEST COACH

We were extremely lucky to have Sensei Mark Maidment take our session on Tuesday 4th April. Sensei Mark awarded the new grades as well as our junior and senior Player of the Year trophies. He ran a fantastic Judo games session for the juniors followed by a tough but extremely fun senior session. Thank you Sensei Mark from Abingdon Judo Club.

Sensei Mark Maidment was also on hand to present Tim Parsons with his 1st Dan black belt.

ABINGDON JUDO CLUB CHANGES

As of September 2016 AJC will undergo a number of changes to ensure the greatest success for the future. These are as follows:

  1. Judo will move from a Monday evening to a Tuesday evening
  2. The club will be held at Abingdon Leisure Centre in one of the squash courts next to the main sports hall
  3. Like the Bank of England interest rates, our club fees have stayed the same (£4 per session) since 2007. However based on increases to venue hire over time and the need to grow the club and purchase new mats etc. we now need to increase those fees to:
    1. £5.00 per session for the first lesson
    2. £5.50 per session for the second lesson

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email us on abingdonjudoclub@hotmail.co.uk

NEW ADULT JUDO LESSON
